And tp to a boss is just much much faster than anything else. In a game that most of it is about just farming gear, efficiency is key. I can't tell exactly way but we could all ball park it. I don't want the game to be "easy" for everyone but tp just changes the game and there's a reason why enigma is BiS for most builds and people start with sorcs only to switch to other clases once they've got enigma. Sorcs in the other hand don't give a shot about that. Hell act 3 without rush was always a shitty map due to how shit the layouts are and the fact that act 3 waypoints are good for nothing before kuraast. It's just an extra inconvenience for everyone else, while making the sorc be miles better than everyone else. I mean, it's not necessarily making it easier for everybody because you can literally buy a tp staff very early on. But since the upcoming patch seems to show devs are willing to listen to the demands of a large group of players that IF they want to change anything about the teleport/enigma thing then I think the ideas stated above are more in touch with the original Diablo feel then any other drastic changes, This way more players can enjoy other classes and Enigma can still exist as on of the most powerful items in the game.įor the record, I want to state I'm not in favor of altering this game besides minor changes. As an example you could have a runeword that requires a Mal as the highest rune and has something like +1 to teleport, -15 to all res (to offset the advantage gained by teleporting). Instead of removing Enigma, increasing drop rates or nerfing the Sorceress I would like to suggest a less dramatic change to the game.Īdd new items to the game that adds + to teleport. Enigma and teleport are probably the most controversial topics in this game.
Except for those players that either get very lucky, have insane amounts of time to farm or are able to buy the runes on 3th party websites. However, without the use of teleport, early/mid ladder Sorceresses will still dominate the game. Patch 1.4 is introducing more balances to the game to make more builds viable.
